What does an Electronics designer do at the New Business Access Control Solutions department?
As an electronics designer, you are involved from the first product idea to global launch. You have a broad role, and in addition to being responsible for the electronics design, you work with schematic design, component selection, testing & verification, production support but also certifications.

Product development is conducted in cross-functional project teams. Disciplines you will have close contact with are product managers, project managers, PCB CAD, software, mechanics, UX, sourcing, quality, tech writers, etc.

Examples of technologies you will get in contact with are, analog and digital electronics, audio & video design, power and PoE, high speed interfaces (Ethernet, USB, LVDS etc.), RF/antennas, displays etc. To ensure the quality of our products, you will also design and test for EMC and electrical safety.

As many of the products we are developing, are new to us or the market, you will be able to make good use of your creative side. To further stimulate innovation, we spend 10% of our working time on what we call "Free Fridays", where each employee is free to use this time for learning, developing their own ideas and general innovation.

Who are you?
You are a passionate Electronics Designer with a genuine interest in technology and a relevant experience in electronics. You possess a university/college education. It is an advantage if you master electronics CAD tools like, Expedition or PADS and feel comfortable in designing both digital and analogue electronics.

You are used to developing complete products, from idea to volume production, and preferably in the area of consumer electronics. You are used to working in teams and comfortable in taking a leading role.

Vår energi- och fastighetsteknikenhet på LKF har som huvudmål att säkerställa effektiva och hållbara energilösningar samt driftsäkra fastigheter. Med 15 medarbetare är vi redan en välfungerande enhet, men för att möta de växande kraven inom energiteknik och hållbarhet samt för att stärka vår kompetens inom elinstallationer och elsäkerhet, vill vi utöka vår personalstyrka genom att rekrytera en Installationsingenjör El.

Installationsingenjören El ansvarar för att kravställa och övervaka elinstallationer samt säkerställa elsäkerheten inom LKFs fastighetsbestånd. Genom att tillämpa teknisk expertis och innovation bidrar du till att optimera energisystemen och säkerställa att fastigheterna uppfyller standarder för elsäkerhet.

 

Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifterna innehåller:

· Som installationsingenjör EL bistår du organisationen med specialistkompetens vid löpande förvaltning, nyproduktionsprojekt och tekniska installationsprojekt.

· Du har kunskap om befintliga lagar och regler inom din disciplin. Du ansvarar för kompetensutveckling av övriga LKF för förändringar inom exempelvis lagkrav.

· Ansvarig specialist för tillhörande ramavtal enligt gränsdragningslista och avrop av myndighetsbesiktningar inom fastighetsägarens ansvar.

· Elsäkerhetsansvar för LKF med tillhörande delegering samt ansvarig för elrevision.

· Du ansvar för det praktiska arbetet för uppdatering av LKF projekteringsanvisningar och granskning inom våra interna processer.

· Du följer den tekniska utvecklingen (omvärldsbevakning) och initierar kravställningen av våra tekniska installationer inom el.

Vem är du? Du har en relevant utbildning, Elingenjör eller motsvarande, Allmän Elbehörighet och minst 5 års relevant arbetslivserfarenhet. Meriterande är yrkeserfarenhet från fastighetsbranschen och kunskap om interna delningsnät. Du kommer att komplettera vårt befintliga team genom att tillföra specialiserad kunskap inom elteknik och installationsarbete.

The European Spallation Source is one of the largest science and technology infrastructure projects being built today. The facility design and construction include the most powerful linear proton accelerator ever built. The vision is to build and operate the world’s most powerful neutron source, enabling scientific breakthroughs in research related to materials, energy, health and the environment, and addressing some of the most important societal challenges of our time.

The position is scheduled to start as soon as possible, taking into account notice period. The estimated duration of the project is 12 months with the possibility of extension. Please note that this job requires 100% on-site presence in the office in Lund, Sweden.

As a Equipment Acceptance Leader you will support the NSS project organisation to ensure that equipment and components that are to be incorporated to the ESS facility fulfil relevant directives and standards. Main tasks will include:
• Leading equipment acceptance activities including quality control.
• Leading and organizing acceptance testing of systems.
• Leading trouble shooting initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance of technical components to operational requirements by identifying applicable directives and standards.
• Identifing potential gaps in terms of quality related activities and documentation.
• Defining actions and deliverables required to ensure compliance.
• Authorizing equipment for installation.
• Coordinating activities with and between internal actors such as Quality, Environment Safety & Health (ESH) and Technology groups.
• Developing acceptance test protocols with system responsible.
• Supervising and witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) on site and externally as appropriate.
• Verifying quality and internal consistency of technical documentation and maintenance procedures.

We expect:
• Engineering degree in a relevant field (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics engineering) or an equivalent education and experience.
• Excellent oral and written English skills.
• General understanding of EU standards and directives for equipment and/or installations, such as the Machinery Directive and the Electrical LV Directive.
• Experience in CE marking of equipment according to the above-mentioned directives.

What will you do here as an AI Engineer?
As an AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced retrieval systems that leverage retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques and agentic orchestration frameworks. You will work on integrating autonomous AI agents capable of executing multi-step reasoning and retrieval tasks to solve complex information access challenges across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

* RAG System Research and Implementation:
Lead the design and implementation of retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, optimizing vector-based search and hybrid retrieval methods. Integrate agentic reasoning capabilities to enable dynamic tool usage and document chaining.

* Agentic Search Orchestration:
Develop AI systems that utilize agent-based frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen) to autonomously plan and execute information retrieval workflows across multiple data sources and formats.

* Search Algorithm Optimization:
Enhance semantic and hybrid search algorithms, embedding-based ranking, and context-aware retrieval, ensuring scalable and relevant access to both structured and unstructured data.

* Query Understanding and Interpretation:
Build intelligent query understanding components that support agent planning, tool selection, and intent recognition, adapting to user needs and task objectives.

* Data Processing and Integration:
Collaborate with data engineers to extract, transform, and load content from various internal and external sources, optimizing it for real-time agent access and retrieval.

* Information Retrieval Model Development:
Train and fine-tune models for document classification, ranking, and chaining, enabling agents to navigate large corpora with contextual awareness and minimal human intervention.

* Evaluation Frameworks:
Define and maintain evaluation pipelines for both retrieval and agentic performance, including retrieval accuracy, task completion rates, and agent autonomy metrics.

Solution Management is globally responsible for the solution offering, sales support and professional services. In addition, we offer the regions project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. End-to-End Solutions is one out of four groups within Solution Management. The End-to-End Solutions team has global product management responsibility for Axis End-to-End Solutions for Surveillance and Security. It manages the entire life cycle of our solutions - from strategic planning to tactical activities, go to market, and maintenance. This new position will be part of the End-to-End Solutions team, but its scope is broader, focusing on the complete customer experience with Axis solutions and products, spanning awareness, demonstration, design, purchase, operation, and maintenance through all phases of the devices and solutions.

What will you do?
In this unique role, you will empower Axis' product management and R&D teams with valuable insights into the customer experience across the entire products and solution lifecycle. Your primary objective is to structure and document knowledge about customer personas, use cases, customer journeys, and user environments, enabling informed decision-making and innovative solution development. Your role will be key in the UX structure within the company and through your anchoring within Solution and Product Management you can ensure an aligned objective and outcome.

Examples of key tasks and responsibilities in this role include:

* Supporting user experience awareness and knowledge within product management and R&D work closely with R&D and their UX design structure.
* Develop content (training materials, videos, documents, etc.) showcasing how our solutions and products are used by partners and end-customers.

What you'll do here as a Software Developer?

* Be part of a 6-person dev team responsible for ACAP framework - the application management code within AXIS OS, our Linux-based firmware.
* Develop code for a critical part of AXIS OS in a way that is maintainable, efficient, and cybersecure.
* Follow best practices in software development regarding e.g. unit and function tests, code reviews, threat modeling, documentation.
* Interact with users of the framework, through e.g. 3rd line support questions or reported issues.
* Our main language today is C, but we have started an initiative to gradually migrate the code base to Rust.
* Tools and systems we use on a daily basis include git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira and Docker.

Who are we looking for?
