Job Summary
The Center of Expertise Separation team at Tetra Pak is now recruiting an Application Specialist. As an Application Specialist you will support our sales organization in the discussions with customers, participate in projects, as well as develop our application knowledge. You will work both in teams and individually. You will be part of a team with very high competence, where our know-how in centrifugal separation is at the core of our business.
This position is based in Lund, Sweden but you will work in a global environment and traveling is to be expected.
What you will do
As an Application Specialist in the separator team, you will be part of a team of application and technical experts. In this role you will:
Maintain, improve and develop separator application knowledge
Drive performance evaluations at customer sites
Support separator sales with application expertise
Participate in customer meetings
Develop new application guidelines
Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
Have an expert role in development projects
Deliver training and share know-how

We believe you have
University degree in food-, bio- or chemical engineering
1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
A background within centrifugal separation, food industry, microbiology, processing technologies, packaging or similar
A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
An interest in training others and sharing knowledge

We are now looking for a Microbiology Expert to join our Central Microbiology team. The position is based in Lund as part of a team located both in Sweden and Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for activities in the field of Microbiological Food Safety & Quality. What you will do

Management of our test organism supply. Test organisms (mainly bacterial spores) are used in the verification & validation of sterilization processes of aseptic filling machines. In connection to this role, you will be expected to:
Build and maintain knowledge concerning test organisms.
Secure availability of relevant test organisms.
Assess test organism resistance towards various inactivation technologies.
Provide expertise on appropriate test organism based on the inactivation technology.
Update and develop methods for spore production and resistance measurements.
Secure and develop microbiological capabilities.

Job Summary
In this position you will be responsible for running prototypes in our Accelerator Lab in Lund, acting as a growth partner for our customers.
The Accelerator lab is a food lab where our team of Food Scientists can fast prototype ideas into materialised food product concepts to enable our customers’ journey of achieving sustainable profitable growth. We are all about accelerating successful food product launches connecting our core value of protecting food, people, and the planet.
In our stellar team you will work on multiple customer projects spread across the EMEA region. Nonetheless, working in a Marketing Services team means your daily basis will include close interaction with our Marketing Services and Customer Experience experts. The ability to clearly communicate technical terms within the understanding of the whole team is an essential skill to have to be successful in this role.
What you will do
As our Food Scientist, you will be accountable for all activities around prototype development at the Accelerator Lab.
Main responsibilities:
Create conceptual briefs and physical product concepts to support customer immersion meetings.
Design, execute and document prototype experiments at lab-scale.
Design, execute and document customer sensory tasting sessions.
Carry analysis on prototypes such as, viscosity, total sugar content, moisture, etc.
Run a pilot-scale UHT machine (20L/h), and a high-pressure homogeniser on a weekly basis.
Actively contribute to the Accelerator Lab’s operation maintenance, including analytical equipment SOPs, inventory, and supplier relationship management.
Stay abreast of the market trends for the Food & Drinks category with focus on Juice, nectar and still drinks (JNSD), plant-based drinks and dairy.

We believe you have
A bachelor’s degree in food science and a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the food industry;

OR
A master’s degree in food science/dairy processing/biotechnology and a minimum of 1 year of work experience in the food industry.
Preferably work experience in a hands-on food scientist/new product developer role within the JNSD, plant-based or dairy industry. Previous work with liquid formulations is highly valued.
Familiarity with food safety and compliance regulations with focus on novel foods and claims.
Experience working with sensory analysis and pilot-scale UHT machine are highly valued.
You are pro-active and enjoy taking responsibility.
You are curious and interested in new product development and food innovation.
You are comfortable in a food science lab space and get energised by the lab work.
You foster a mindset of growth and continuous learning for yourself and others.
You can work independently while striving in collaborative environments and have a solution-oriented attitude.
Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.

We are looking for a new Development Engineer who wants to develop and improve our Prepress & Printing technology and equipment.
You will join a diverse team consisting of different engineers. The Printing team within D&T Industrial Base Engineering at Tetra Pak has the responsibility to develop, maintain and improve global specifications within PrePress & Printing. Job Summary
The Technical Support Excellence team is part of the Tetra Pak Services organisation, and we are now looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Service Engineer to join our team. You will act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak and help maintain the company’s reputation for commitment and service worldwide. That’s why we consider this role to be of great importance.
As a Service Engineer, you will be a part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering technical products and support to our customers by providing preventive maintenance and technical services. You will be responsible to execute troubleshooting, perform maintenance, and improve machine performance on Tetra Pak equipment as well as be supporting installation, commissioning, and performance validation of new equipment.
This is a permanent position based in Lund, Sweden but our customers are located all over the world and as such the position requires high frequent travelling worldwide.
What you will do
You will work in the operations of Technical Support Excellence on Filling machines for aseptic solutions or Downstream equipment. The majority of your work tasks will be executed at our customers’ plants, following Tetra Pak processes and procedures, which also gives you the opportunity to be an ambassador for the company.
Main responsibilities:
Execute analysis and troubleshoot to resolve mechanical, electrical and automation issues. Conduct systematic root cause analysis of problems to enable permanent solutions
Perform maintenance activities on our equipment in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures to restore basic conditions and restore equipment into production
Document your findings in technical reports
Take an active role in developing and implementing improvement solutions for machine equipment, analyse machine performance and drive performance improvement
Perform installation of rebuilding kits/upgrades, ensuring agreed performance of Tetra Pak lines
Participate in building good relationships with customer staff and colleagues in our Market Companies
Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements and promote a safe working culture in the team

We believe you have
At least a secondary school education with technical orientation and understanding of mechatronics, that includes electrical, mechanical and automation interaction within the equipment
A good command of both written and verbal English is necessary
Knowledge of other languages will be a plus
Driving license

To be successful in this position we believe you are a curious, self-motivated person with a high degree of initiative. You will work autonomously in complex situations, having the ability to make your own fast decisions and to solve problems under time and customer pressure.
You shall be prepared travel approximately 150 days/year. Therefore, it is important you enjoy contact with different cultures worldwide.

Biotech Heights will be operated through an operational team led by a Managing Director. Tetra Pak is hosting the Manager Biotech Heights who will serve as deputy to the Managing Director. This role aligns Tetra Pak's expertise in scalable food processing and packaging with Biotech Heights' mission.
We are now looking for a Manager Biotech Heights who will work closely with the Managing Director to drive strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement of this innovation hub to accelerate innovation and collaboration.
The position is permanent and base in Lund. Some travelling will be required.
What you will do
As the Manager Biotech Heights, you will support and drive strategic and operational activities alongside the Managing Director. Your focus will be fostering innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence to advance Biotech Heights' mission of developing sustainable bioprocess solutions and transforming food systems.
In this role, you will:
Implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with Biotech Heights' objectives and vision.
Drive the operational execution of key initiatives and facilitate knowledge sharing among academia, industry, and public institutions.
Contribute to securing funding for research and innovation projects, collaborating with partners to identify and develop new opportunities.
Represent Biotech Heights in external engagements, promoting its mission and strengthening relationships with stakeholders globally.
Support the organisation of workshops, seminars, and events to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and professional networking.
Provide oversight for day-to-day operations, ensuring effective implementation of board decisions and reporting progress regularly.
Identify and address challenges in scaling infrastructure, resource efficiency, and consumer product development in biotechnology.

Main responsibilities:
Support the Managing Director in overseeing the daily activities of the Operational Team, ensuring an effective organisational structure is maintained.
Prepare and assist in submitting annual Operational Activity and Financial Plans to the Board of Biotech Heights by December 1st.
Contribute to annual strategic reviews, identifying areas for improvement and proposing updates to the Program Plan for Biotech Heights.
Manage financial resources alongside the Managing Director, including budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Play a key role in approving new memberships and managing decisions related to memberships.
Represent Biotech Heights in external engagements, promoting its vision and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Assist in implementing board decisions, ensuring timely execution and providing regular updates on progress.

We believe you have
Master's degree or higher in food technology, biotechnology, process engineering, business administration, or related fields.
8-10 years Proven leadership experience in food processing, sustainability, or related industries.
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary stakeholder landscapes, teams and complex projects.
Proven track record of collaboration between academia and industry – reflecting different types of research projects, agreements and innovation IPR management.
Expertise in developing and executing strategic plans and managing organisational budgets.
Strong knowledge of bioprocess technologies, scaling challenges, and sustainable food systems and understanding the ecosystem of stakeholders across industry, academia and public institutions required for the transformation
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to biotech for food, including novel foods and GMOs.
Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., Swedish) are a plus.

You possess strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities. Your leadership and operational skills are exceptional, and you have the ability to inspire collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Job Summary
We are looking for a professional Regional Customs Manager, who will lead the workforce management and development, be an expert in optimizating customs operations by the usage of Free Trade Agreements, special regimes like IPR and any other available benefits. Knowledge on PBE operations, trade flows and tolling are differentials highly appreciated.
Additionally the professional should be able to monitor regional risks and regulatory developments, drive customs brokers performance management. Regional Customs Manager will be the escalation point and support on problem solving for Customs Operations for Imports, Exports and the above mentioned Special Regimes and Benefits.
In this role you will be managing Eastern Europe region and possibly supporting other markets on spot basis.
The position will be based in Lund, Sweden. You may be required to travel 25% of your time regionally / globally.
What you will do
Drive regional customs team and manage people development.
Guarantee trade-flows optimization and the accurate application of special regimes, FTAs, IPRs and other opportunities to improve the duty under management.
Manage regulatory developments and all risks for customs operations – import and export.
Resilience, ability to handle ambiguity & dynamic environments.
Collaboration & conflict management (internally and externally with logistics providers/ customs brokers)
Build and keep communication with local and regional key stakeholders.
Manage and support problem solving in the customs operation, and also support business needs.
Ensure compliance of Free Trade Agreements, IPR, Drawback and all benefits Tetra Pak can apply for, as well as guarantee full compliance with local regulations.
Lead the implementation of cross functional procedures with customs brokers and Logistics to standardize and align data declared in customs declarations.
Perform the origin qualification of all goods exported to countries that have signed Trade Agreements with European countries.
Be responsible for customs tariff classification and approval.
Responsible to close open gaps related to the Internal and external Audits.

We believe you have
Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade, International Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Accounting.
Minimum 5 years of experience in customs regulations, special regimes and intercompany trade flows operations as well as other relevant regulations with the countries Tetra Pak has customs operations with
Fluent English language knowledge is a must - Swedish language knowledge is an advantage
Significant experience in handling audits conducted by government and customs authorities is essential

You have strong leadership skills and have the interest and ability to develop and motivate others. You enjoy working in a dynamic and international environment with people from various cultures.
