Job Description
As a CI Services Developer, you will join our team working with the development of our Software Factory at one of the major automotive companies in Sweden, focusing on Python development. Much of the work is focused on 'Operations' and troubleshooting & solving issues that may appear in the CI streams.
We are looking for a curious doer who likes interacting and communicating with people in the organization.
Requirements:
For this position, you should have solid Python experience & skills.
Experience from CI pipelines is meriting; Jenkins, Zuul.
Automotive experience is good to have but not mandatory."

Responsibilities:
1. Monitor AWS cost and usage:
o Track and analyze AWS billing reports, cost allocation tags, and usage data to gain insights into resource consumption patterns.
o Identify cost anomalies, trends, and potential areas for optimization.
o Generate regular reports and provide recommendations to stakeholders on cost management.
2. Optimize AWS resources:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for rightsizing, instance utilization, and service optimization.
o Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize resource efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditures.
o Identify and manage idle or underutilized resources, optimizing their utilization or decommissioning them as appropriate.
3. Provide cost optimization recommendations:
o Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to identify cost optimization opportunities during the design and development phases of AWS projects.
o Provide guidance and best practices to development teams for optimizing costs without compromising performance, security, or scalability.
4. Stay updated on AWS cost management best practices:
o Continuously monitor AWS cost management resources, blogs, and industry trends to stay up to date with the latest cost optimization techniques and tools.
o Evaluate and recommend third-party tools or services that can enhance AWS cost monitoring and optimization capabilities.
5. Visualising Business Intelligence:
o Able to visualize various areas of business into reports to provide insights for teams, also outside of the financial area.


Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its various services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
• Experience in AWS cost management and optimization, with a focus on reducing costs without compromising performance or reliability.
• Proficiency in analyzing AWS billing reports, cost allocation tags, and usage data.
• Familiarity with cost optimization tools and services such as AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, and third-party cost management solutions.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, resource utilization, and scalability.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Good practical experience of AWS QuickSight or similar BI tooling.

Huvudsakliga ansvarsområden:

Kvalifikationer och erfarenheter


Kandidatexamen i elektroteknik, elkraftsystem eller relaterat område eller motsvarande arbetslivserfarenhet.


Gedigen förståelse för elkraftsystemdesign och ingenjörsprinciper, implementering eller anbudsförfrågningar för elkraftsystemlösningar


Bevisad erfarenhet av anbudsprocesser, projektledning eller liknande roller inom elkraft


Starka kommunikations-, teamwork- och projektledningsfärdigheter: förmågan att effektivt samarbeta med interna och externa intressenter


Trivs i en miljö med tidsfrister, hantera parallella prioriteringar effektivt och anpassa sig till föränderliga projektbehov och kundförväntningar

What will you do?
Lead the internal Green Premium process for the Building Management System and Fire product offers
Use digital tools to create Life-cycle Analysis, Product Environmental Profiles and End-of-Life Instructions
Secure compliance to environmental directives and regulations (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Prop 65 etc.) for preexisting and new offers
Collecting design data directly from material manufacturers, suppliers, or test labs
Participate in global company networks on sustainable product design and environmental compliance.
Keep up to date on new environmental standards and regulations in Europe and North America
Provide guidance to system and component design that reduce negative impact on environment
Serve as a technical advisor for our engineering on environmental policies and standards to ensure regulatory applicability
Conduct research and technical audits on environmental impact of new projects, analyze data and perform quality control checks
Monitor progress and provide reports to higher level management
Document and maintain plans, requirements, protocols, permits and standard operating procedures

What we are looking for
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Full Stack .NET Developer to help with the development of our cloud platform and associated services. Our state-of-the-art platform provides foundational technology to enable the digitization of a range of solutions that allows customers manage Buildings in a better way.
You will be a part of an experienced team, working successfully with CI/CD where the emphasis onwards will be on developing new features and managing large amount of data.
The primary tech stack: C#, F#, Angular, TypeScript, Azure.

Responsibilities
Develop scalable and secure software for platforms and services deployed on Azure cloud
Collaborate with key stakeholders to clarify and deliver project requirements
Collaborate with team to develop and perform unit and acceptance tests
Work with stakeholders to solve problems, debug, profile, etc.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience with .NET development technologies and frameworks
